Couple things are apparent to me with the recent withdrawal of Vince Fumo from the State Senate race. Yes we now have some choice in the election but do we really want someone who’s home was searched by the FBI. John Dougherty hasn’t been indicted and no allegations have been made, but do we really want another soon to be indicted politician representing our community. To get a search warrant, the FBI has to show enough evidence that a crime has been committed for a magistrate to issue a search warrant. The legal term is probable cause to believe that John Doc is up to his cheekbones in something wrong. Fumo’s under indictment and his ticker is ticking as most probably the clock on his liberty. So do we want another FUMO clone like Larry Farnese or someone like Johnny Doc who is on the list of usual suspects. Maybe real change is need and Anne Dicker is the best choice?

While we’re at it—we need to dumb South Philly’s top bigot Bill Keller and get some fresh blood in the State House too. Aside from his sterling reputation for keeping the ILA happy on the piers has Bill Keller done anything but line his pockets too? Babette Josephs calls herself the candidate for change? How long has she been in the house? Wake UP Philly and vote these bums out.
