Live Updates of PA Primary Results

I’ll be around doing live updates all night as we start to hear results on the big race.

10:19pm: As you can see, I’ve changed the headline above. Hillary wins! Obama might get a bit closer, but Philadelphia and Pittsburgh votes are mostly counted, so it looks like we’ve got a winner. Clinton has managed to hold on to a strong enough lead to keep her campaign viable… I think.

10:02pm: Am I the only one bored with suspense??

9:37pm: Seems like it’s still way too early to predict, so I’m not sure why news outlets are calling it. The percentage seems to fluctuate widely and many big areas haven’t gotten results in yet… Clinton 54 / Obama 46 right now.

9:25pm: Lots of Philly and suburbs aren’t in yet, so this race could very easily get closer for Obama.

9:22pm: Oh and McCord country just came in and swept Mann off the table.

9:20pm: By the way, I’m avoiding TV news tonight because it’s been so vapid thus far. But from what I’m reading on the blogs, the pundits are back to the old “it’s in the margin” theory. Of course it is! It always was! Nothing has changed.

Clinton 53 / Obama 47 right now…

9:13pm: In other news, Jenn Mann is running a lot closer to Rob McCord than I expected. She’s only a thousand or so votes behind and she’s ahead of John Cordisco. That would be an interesting upset in the Treasurer’s race.

9:10pm: PA Dept. of State is too slow. I’ve got to start relying on Philly.com for numbers… Hillary 53 / Obama 47

8:55pm: Hillary/67% Obama/32% with less than one percent of districts reporting. Not worth talking about.

8:54pm: Um, helloooooo. It’s been almost an hour and we don’t know anything yet! The suspense! The suspense!

WOW!

What do they know that we don’t to call this so early?

Could this be a huge victory?

What an exciting night this is going to be.

GO HILLARY GO!

Hillary

There still counting in Philly and don’t forget there will be a whole lot of issues about voting machines suddenly breaking down in predominately black districts. Exit polls show Barack doing exceedingly well in the suburbs where he wasn’t expected too. Maybe a win for Hillary by 7% when its over. All Barack had to do in PA was 38% to keep Hillary in hotwater. He has done it with room to spare. Any gain for Hillary is lost in a week or two anyway. Can I ask why isn’t anyone upset at how the media is treating PA? They pretty much painted PA voters who voted for Hillary as old and stuck in their ways or uneducated. I certainly am offended by being portrayed in that light. Where is the outrage? Come on Hillary! Fight for us! Where are you?

Barack Obama for President!

Congrats to Hillary and onward…
Barack Obama remains the strongest candidate to face John McCain. Here’s a good summary of some reasons to consider supporting Obama: http://acropolisreview.com/2008/04/top-reasons-to-...

Back to 10% lead for Hillary at 78% reporting
