It's Election Day - Get Out There and Vote!

Report from the poll

I voted a couple hours after the polls opened and was voter number 103. That’s about 12% of my precinct. I asked if the voters were mostly Ds or Rs and was told it was about 75% Dems voting. I stopped at another poll in a different legislative district and was told the voting there had been steady. It’s a beautiful day here in western Pennsylvania and that should help turnout.

Voter #108 in Rural PA

I live in the sticks, and at 10am I was 108! Steady as she goes in Centre County. Same story…Almost all Democrats! Voted Hillary…As if anyone would be surprised. ;-)

This will surely be one for the record books! Let the best Senator win! The will of the voters is supreme!

Texting Results

Does anyone know where I can get returns texted to me as they come in tonight? I have to be away from media for most of the evening. Thanks!

Happy Earth Day (er, Primary Day)!

What a gorgeous day! Enjoy the day & enjoy the historic opportunity to vote for our 1st woman president!

I voted

I voted this morning around 9am and I was voter 115, I think, but there were only a few people in front of me, so maybe I just hadn’t had enough coffee yet.

Voters might be voting early

Looking at all the anecdotal comments, I’m thinking this might be one of those elections where the vast majority of voting takes place before 4 or 5PM.

I recall one election (maybe the 2004 general election) where most of my voters showed up before 4. We hardly had any voters come in after then when we usually picked up the evening/after work voters. I remember we were all surprised hardly anyone was coming in.

Vote Early and Vote Often

The funniest thing I saw today was a contingent of Johnny Doc supporters rallying outside the Fumo Family library.
