Milton Street – brother of Philly Mayor John Street – started off the year by contending he would be a candidate for the Democratic nomination to succeed his brother but then changed his plans to run for City Council…his nominating petitions were challenged as opponents claimed most of the signatures consisted of the same handwriting…a Judge somehow gave Street’s petitions a clean bill of health and he will be on the May 15th ballot…Street served as his own attorney…Hmmmmmm!
