But they agree on everything!
Hackett got the first opening statement and said he hasn’t spent a lot of time talking about his successful businesses but listening to people. Meuser used his time to talk about Pride Mobility. When asked about to pay for the Iraq war and how you cut taxes at the same time they both dodged the question. On the follow up by Boris, Hackett said that raising taxes decreases revenue to the federal government and advocated a flat tax. Meuser went off on Corporate tax rates.

Saw the debate and
I’d urge all 10th Conservative Republicans to smile and be happy because this pair of Hackett and Meuser are indeed “TOOLS” as described below:
The word “tool” may be used, describing someone who is being used by an establishment willingly (as a sycophant), or unwillingly (as one who blindly conforms). Alternatively, tool can imply that a person is unable (or unwilling) to form an independent opinion on a given topic. Tool is also a slang term for the Penis, and as such is used a a slightly more acceptable term, akin to Dick: “Why did you act like such a tool?”
Hey good question, why do Hackett and Meuser act like such tools?
perfect
I knew there was just the right word to describe these guys. Conservative, right-wing, rich guys just didn’t do them justice and too wordy. One single word that says it all – TOOL – perfect.
Perfect
Isn’t it? just looking at thenm and their pathetic debates and comments, TOOLS INDEED!!!!
Perfect
TOOLS, hahahahahaha
TOOLS TOOLS
TOOLS TOOLS TOOLS TOOLS
Both created businesses and worked hard to make...
them successful… and this is supposed to be a character “negative”?
Both are decent candidates but Meuser understands the issues in greater depth and discuss goals and strategies to work on America’s problems.
Au contraire...
they do not agree on everything. Hackett belongs to a group that is so mis-trustful of everything and everyone in Washington that they feel nothing can be reformed.
Earmarks…no reform, just walk away from them, Meuser knows that federal investment is important, but also recognizes the need for reform.
Farm subsidies? Hackett wnats to eliminate them, and do away with the Dept. of Agriculture. Meuser believes in investing in family farms.
Don’t kid yourself, Meuser is a conservative republican, Hackett& his gang want to start their own party…frankly I wish they would already.

Meuser-Hackett Contest
The mentally-challenged voters in the Northern Tier of the 10th District west of Scranton will generally vote Republican unless the candidate is badly-damaged goods as was their last incumbent GOP congressman.
The Hackett-Meuser attack dog primary fight has to be good news to Chris Carney’s campaign manager who no doubt, will re-run prime segments of these vicious TV commercials in the general campaign.

Northern Tier residents
Northern Tier residents need to strongly consider Hackett’s remarks promoting a flat tax. A quick look at the areas per capital income reveals that a flat tax would benefit very few, while placing a proportionately higher burden on majority of residents, who are low – middle income earners. Typical Republican one-sided, supply side economic analysis, but I guess the working folks could wait for the benefits to trickle down… lol.
One TOOL
down and one to go! hahahahaha
