The American heritage dictionary defines the word evil as causing ruin, injury, or pain; harmful. How else but evil would one characterize a member of congress who willfully disregards the expressed will of his constituents? What other word but evil would describe the following:
voting against The Medicare Prescription Drug Price Negotiation Act,
voting against overtime protection for American workers
voting against housing assistance for Native Amercians,
voting against creating long term energy alternatives,
voting against tax incentives for clean renewable energy
voting against raising the minimum wage,
voting against the prosecution of hate crimes,
Voting against expanding healthcare coverage to National Guard members and reservists who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan
voting against granting a bonus to grant a $1,500 bonus to every American service member serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, including National Guard and Reserve forces.
voting against the responsible redeployment of American troops from Iraq
Voting against the re-authorization of children’s healthcare,
Voting against the Children’s health and Medicare protection act of 2007
But according to the Congressional record via the Library of Congress, this member of congress doesn’t just vote “nay”, he voted “Yea” on a few things, for example;
voting to continue awarding contracts to Halliburton even if the Pentagon’s own audit processes found that more than $100 million of their contractor’s costs in Iraq were unreasonable.
Voting to give billions to oil companies
Voting to give billions to drug companies
Voting for what ever Tom Delay told him to 97% of the time
According to Project VoteSmart this member of Congress was given a low grades from such public watchdog groups as;
National Education Association
National Parent Teacher Association
Children’s Defense fund
Alliance for Retired Americans
Retired Enlisted Association
Disabled American Veterans
Drum Major Institute for Public Policy
Who is this villain, you might ask? What kind of person would call himself a representative of the people and still advocate the privatization of Social Security, the elimination of the AMT, and the continuation of the War in Iraq? The answer is sadly the PA-09th’s own Bill Shuster.
Here’s what the people have to say:

We're with you Tony!
I’ve met Mr. Barr on a few occasions at Pennsylvania Democratic events. He is an outstanding young man with great ideas for the district.
Time for a new direction in the 9th.

So this site is now a venue
So this site is now a venue for hit jobs and candidate press releases? Cute.
You gotta be a wing nut, buddy?
Since when is a congressional voting record a Hit job?
If Mr. Shuster is smart
If Mr. Shuster is smart enough to see what a fraud alternative energy is, he’s far better for all of us who use electricity than someone who can’t figure out that using 1.6 gallons of diesel to make 1 gallon of ethanol with half the BTSs is worse than stupid.
Of course, some people want us to have higher power bills. For our own good, or theirs?
Somebody's got oil stock
Let me get this straight…borrowing money from China to buy oil from Saudi Arabia is a good idea?
This is the kind of thinking that got us people like Bill Shuster in the first place.
