Stop Attacking Mark Critz and Watch These Attack Ads

I can’t disagree with the premise of Jon’s article earlier today–former Congressman Mark Critz is not the most liberal candidate in the Lieutenant Governor race. But there can be no dispute that Critz is a more-than-reliable Democrat and will fight hard for key Democratic ideals as Lieutenant Governor.

If you need proof of his left-leaning bona fides, don’t ask me–I used to work for Mark. I’m biased. Instead, just peruse these attack ads that the NRCC and Keith Rothfus ran against him in 2012.

“Obama’s ‘Yes’ Man”

“Wrong Team”

“Either Or”

  1. Sean Kitchen says:

Kritz is anti-choice, anti-woman, anti-environment, and anti-gay rights. He’s nothing more than a republican who supports unions and doesn’t stand for core liberal issues.

  2. LMTimm says:

Because the NRCC’s idea of who is progressive and a liberal means anything. By highlighting NRCC ads, you lose your argument, his support of raising the debt ceiling makes him liberal. I don’t think so. For a progressive blog, this writer is insane to call himself a progressive and defend Critz the way he does. Critz won’t stand with Democrats on choice, LGBT and other key issues.

Did you take stupid pills over Christmas break? Or is this post meant as some kind of satire?
